Highlights
Demonstrating the possibility of building a roadster version of a supercar with unrivaled performance that is not only incredibly fast and dynamic, but also extremely comfortable, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, based on the Super Sport, was the fastest and most powerful roadster in the world upon introduction. Exposing passengers directly to the sound of the engine and quad turbochargers, the open-top driving experience was expressed by Bugatti as 'without a doubt the most impressive thing' about the Grand Sport Vitesse. Completing the lineup as one of the final models to wear the Veyron nameplate, the Grand Sport Vitesse would continue to demonstrate Bugatti's supremacy, setting another world record for the brand by achieving 254 miles per hour (408.84 km/h) and making it the fastest production roadster.
First unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, only 92 Grand Sport Vitesse models were scheduled for production, all of which promptly sold out amongst Bugatti's finest customers. Inspired by the Super Sport, numerous alterations were made to the front and rear of the Grand Sport Vitesse in order to optimize the aerodynamics beginning with larger air vents in the front and a double diffuser with a central dual exhaust and active rear spoiler in the rear. Not only much rarer than a standard Grand Sport, the Vitesse would also feature an exterior made completely out of carbon fiber allowing for optionally available clear-coated visible carbon fiber exterior configurations.
Delivered new through Manhattan Motorcars, this Grand Sport Vitesse is finished in a stunning two-tone exterior with exposed Blue Carbon and Pearl paintwork complemented by polished aluminum exterior accents to provide an elegant and sporting exterior specification. Equipped with Diamond Cut wheels finished in Lake Blue with polished elements, these painted wheels perfectly tie in the excellent exterior specification of this example. Stepping into this Grand Sport Vitesse, you will find Lake Blue with Grigio leather along with matching Blue Carbon trim throughout the interior and Lake Blue stitching to provide a charming environment that works in perfect harmony with the exterior to complete this most desirable specification.
